Planting a landscape tree is an investment in the present but more importantly for the future. Take considerations when choosing species such as size when mature, spacing to other trees, and position in your yard. Trees positioned strategically can provide shade in the summer, wind breaks in the winter, or a nice screen of the road or neighbor.
After transplanting, a tree will take two to three years to establish itself and start putting on volume and height. Careful thought into matching soil type and available sun to your tree will ensure vigor and adaptation to the site, giving it the best chance to thrive. Thoughtful initial planning will provide you with a wonderful tree for years to come.
We can plant up to 9' evergreens or 3" shade trees safely with our equipment. We can provide consultation on species, spacing, positioning, and work with you to find the best trees for your site and you.
Scheduling We will arrange planting to fit your needs (7 days a week) and schedule underground utilities marking prior to planting.
Site planning We will be happy to visit your site and recommend the right species for your landscape.
After planting we will provide you with detailed tree care instructions to help ensure vigor and survival.
We also do custom digging and tree moving using our 32” Dutchman® Tree Spade. This size tree spade allows us to dig and move evergreens up to 8’ and shade trees to 2.5” in diameter safely. Want to move a few trees around the yard or create a screen with existing trees, we would be happy to assist.
